Five nights across three Andaman islands — Port Blair for its history, Havelock and Neil for their water. This is India’s clearest sea and best accessible diving, a long flight from the mainland but unlike anywhere else in the country. The trip balances the beaches and reefs with the sober weight of the Cellular Jail.
You land at Port Blair, see the Cellular Jail and its evening show, then ferry to Havelock — now Swaraj Dweep — for Radhanagar Beach, scuba diving and Elephant Beach snorkelling. A hop to Neil Island, or Shaheed Dweep, adds quieter sand and the natural rock bridge, before ferrying back to Port Blair for the flight home.
The islands are tropical and forested, ringed by coral and startlingly clear water — visibility offshore often runs past twenty metres. The mood shifts hard between them: Port Blair is a working town carrying a heavy history, while Havelock and Neil are slow and sea-facing. Ferries set the rhythm, and the sea is calmest October to May.
Some moments are built for lingering: the first descent on a dive when the reef and its fish resolve out of the blue below you; Radhanagar emptying to gold as the sun drops behind the tree line; and the quiet inside a Cellular Jail cell, reading the names, where the light-and-sound show later fills the same courtyard.
Built for beach and diving lovers and travellers who want history with their sand. Not for those wanting nightlife, shopping or quick city breaks — this is remote island time on ferry schedules. Flights and ferries book out in peak season, the monsoon disrupts sailings, and connectivity is limited.

How do we get around the islands, and how much time do ferries take?
Everything runs on ferries from Port Blair. Havelock is about ninety minutes to two hours by fast catamaran; Neil is a shorter hop beyond it. Sailings are limited and sell out in season, so seats must be booked ahead, and rough weather or monsoon can cancel them. We build buffer time and hold your ferry tickets in advance.
