Most travel companies sell places. We never quite believed in that. A place is only half the trip — the other half is who you are when you get there: the six-year-old who needs a pool by 4pm, the grandmother who wants the temple before the crowds, the couple marking ten years with a table that took three weeks to book.
So we built Picknic around a simple conviction — design for the memory, not the checklist. No two travellers see the world the same way, which is why no two Picknic journeys are the same. Every trip starts as a blank page and a conversation, and ends as a story a family tells for years.
Behind it is a team with 24 years of collective experience in travel — routes checked, hotels called, snacks packed — led by founders Dharmesh Bansal and Shalini Ramasundar.

When you reach us, you get a curator — a real person who designs your journey from scratch and stays with it until you are home. Your Travel Thumbprint (seven quick questions) tells them how you travel; a callback within 2 hours (9am–9pm IST) starts the design. The curator books the flights, the stays, the visas and the restaurant that needed asking nicely — then answers the phone when plans wobble. Your trip never competes for attention.
