Nine campus
visits, five cities.
This is a shortlisting trip disguised as a holiday — ten days spent walking the campuses a Class 11 or 12 student might actually apply to. Brisbane to the Gold Coast, Sydney, Canberra and Melbourne — nine universities including Queensland, Bond, Griffith, Sydney, UNSW, ANU, Canberra, Melbourne and Monash — seen from the inside rather than from a prospectus, with the coast and a theme park to break the pace. Campus visits are arranged with each university and remain subject to availability — a walk-through and, where offered, a session with admissions or students, not guaranteed lectures.
Guided campus walks at the University of Queensland, Bond and Griffith, with an admissions session where offered.
Back-to-back visits to the University of Sydney and UNSW, comparing two very different campus cultures.
The Australian National University in Canberra, followed by the University of Canberra.
The University of Melbourne and Monash University, closing out the shortlist with Australia's top-ranked campuses.
A Melbourne city tour and the MCG, alongside a Gold Coast theme-park day to break the pace.

Everything you
need to know
How are students supervised across four flights and five cities?
We run one chaperone per ten senior students, always including a female chaperone, and all Picknic staff are police-verified and first-aid certified. Internal flights are booked as a group with escorts on every sector, hotels are secure triple-sharing blocks, and parents get an evening WhatsApp update with photos, headcounts and the next day's plan.
How far ahead should we book, and are the campus visits guaranteed?
What's included, and how is a school group costed?
