Manchester United
Ten Days at the Academy

A residential coaching camp at Manchester United's Soccer School, ages 10–16.

Programme Overview

COACHED THE
UNITED WAY

For ten residential days, young players train inside Manchester United’s Soccer School, coached by UEFA and FA-qualified staff in the club’s own methodology. Days run on the club’s youth-academy pitches — technical drills, small-sided games and match play — threaded through with seminars on leadership, goal setting, nutrition and English language, an Old Trafford stadium tour with the Megastore and Museum, and a weekend excursion to London and Wembley. Players are coached at the academy training facility, not signed or assessed by the club — there are no trials or scouts, and this is a development camp, not a trial.

Learning Outcomes
  • Technical coaching on Manchester United's own youth-academy pitches, led by UEFA and FA-qualified staff.
  • Small-sided games and match play built around the club's own coaching methodology.
  • An Old Trafford stadium tour, including the Megastore and Museum.
  • A weekend excursion to London and Wembley Stadium.

How are children supervised on a residential camp abroad?

Arrow

The camp is residential with on-site supervision day and night, coordinated by the local London office. Picknic sends its own chaperones — one per eight for this age group, always including a female chaperone — alongside the club's coaching and welfare staff. All Picknic staff are police-verified and first-aid certified, a doctor-on-call is arranged, and parents get a WhatsApp update each evening.
