Africa Overview

The Africa collection gathers the destinations we plan most often for our travellers: Kenya’s Masai Mara, South Africa’s Cape and Garden Route, Morocco’s medinas and Sahara fringe, and the reef-lined coast of Mauritius. Each is built as its own journey rather than a single loop across the map.

What sets these apart is contrast. A morning tracking wildlife across open grassland asks something different of you than an afternoon in a Cape wine estate or a walk through Marrakech’s souks. We plan each rhythm honestly, so a safari and a city are given the pace each deserves rather than being rushed together.

The range suits first-time visitors who want one country done well, and returning travellers ready to pair a safari with coast or culture. It works for couples, families and small groups who would rather travel considered than cover ground.

What you’ll find

  • Wildlife and safari
  • Guided game drives across the Masai Mara’s plains, timed to the herds
  • Cape Town, the Winelands and the coastal drive of the Garden Route
  • Morocco’s medinas, riads and the road to the Sahara’s edge
  • Reef, lagoon and beach along the Mauritian coast
  • A mix of lodges, boutique stays and design-led hotels chosen for the setting
  • Private guides and drivers who read the place, not just the route
  • Sequencing that respects long-haul distances and different daily tempos

When to go. Africa is a continent of separate seasons, so timing follows the country. The Masai Mara draws the largest herds roughly July to October, when the migration is on the plains, though wildlife is present year-round. Cape Town and the Garden Route are at their warmest and driest from about November to March. Morocco is most comfortable in the shoulder months of spring and autumn, when the medinas and desert avoid peak summer heat. We plan each leg to its own best window rather than a single date for the whole trip.

Tell us the rhythm you're after

Whether it’s one country done slowly or a safari paired with coast or culture, we plan to your brief and your budget rather than a fixed package. Visas differ by country and are sequenced alongside your bookings, so nothing is paid at risk before the shape of the journey is settled. Start the conversation and we’ll build from there.
