Experience Overview

Most cricket trips put you in a stand. This one hands you a bat. Built around India’s white-ball tour of New Zealand in the spring window, it pairs verified tickets to the Men in Blue’s fixtures with something no broadcast offers — your own friendly matches against local New Zealand club sides, whites and all.

The tour sets the spine: an ODI on Eden Park’s unusual drop-in square, a T20 on the grass banks at Christchurch’s Hagley Oval, Wellington’s wind swirling round the Cake Tin. Around the internationals, we arrange club fixtures for your group on village outfields, with a proper tea interval and a pavilion beer with the opposition afterwards.

New Zealand in October and November is late spring — 15 to 22°C, greener than anywhere, gloriously changeable, the South Island crisper still. Between cricket the country unspools as a road trip: Hobbiton’s rolling hills, Rotorua’s steam and mud pools, Queenstown under the Remarkables, and the long drive to Milford Sound if the group wants it.

Some moments are built for lingering: the travelling section singing as India walk out at Eden Park; the nervous first over of your own club match on a strange, seaming pitch; a village pavilion at dusk, caps swapped with the Kiwi side; the Southern Alps filling the coach window between one ground and the next.

For cricket-mad groups who would rather play a match than only watch one — clubs, old-boys’ teams, mixed-ability tourers. It is not for spectators who want only the internationals with no kit, and not for anyone unwilling to bat on a green, seaming, distinctly un-Indian pitch.

FAQs

Everything you
need to know

Are India's match tickets confirmed, and are the club games real fixtures?

Arrow

Both. India's white-ball tickets are secured through official New Zealand Cricket-authorised allocations and confirmed before departure, never resale. The club matches are genuine friendlies we arrange in advance with New Zealand grade or club sides — a full game with umpires and a tea interval, pitched to your group's level.

When exactly, and do we need a New Zealand visa?
