Journey Highlights
- Over 200,000 attendees at ADNEC, 2–5 November 2026 — the largest energy gathering on the calendar.
- National oil companies, EPC majors and their vendor ecosystems negotiate the year’s contracts across four days.
- Indian energy majors, EPC firms and equipment vendors travel from Mumbai, Delhi and Chennai in force.
- UAE visas clear in days; the hard constraint is Abu Dhabi hotels, which genuinely sell out.
- We hold room allocations early — or run a managed Dubai stay with daily shuttles down the E11.
- Technical conference tracks run alongside the exhibition; engineers and BD teams split accordingly.
- Energy-transition and decarbonisation halls now carry real budgets, not just brochures.
ADNEC, Abu Dhabi
5 Days | 02–05 Nov
Experience Overview
ADIPEC is where the global energy industry takes attendance — more than 200,000 people at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre from 2 to 5 November 2026. National oil companies, EPC contractors, equipment makers and the energy-transition crowd share four days of halls and a technical conference that runs in parallel. Indian energy firms treat it as compulsory.
A delegation works in two layers. BD and leadership run pre-booked meetings with NOC procurement teams, EPC primes and Gulf distributors — the conversations that decide vendor lists for the year. Engineers work the technical sessions and equipment halls, comparing specifications hands-on. The team reconvenes each evening on the Corniche to swap intelligence, because halls this size reward coordinated coverage.
Getting in is easy; sleeping nearby is not. UAE visas clear in days, but Abu Dhabi’s hotel stock sells out around ADIPEC and rates climb hard — the annual squeeze pushes late bookers to Dubai. We either hold Abu Dhabi allocations early or run a managed Dubai stay with scheduled shuttles down the E11, about 90 minutes door to door.
Some moments are built for lingering: a valve in your engineer’s hands settling an argument three datasheets never could; an NOC buyer’s diary opening for a follow-up meeting in-country; the Corniche at dusk, 28°C and windless, while the team maps which of the day’s forty conversations carry weight.
Go if you sell equipment, engineering services or technology into oil, gas or the energy transition, or you are an EPC or PSU building Gulf order books. Skip it if you are consumer-facing cleantech hunting venture capital — this is an industrial procurement floor, and it has no patience for pitch decks without products.

What is the visa and lead-time picture for Indian teams?
Visas are the easy part — UAE processing runs three to five working days for Indian passports, so late delegation additions are workable. The binding constraint is accommodation, which rewards decisions eight-plus weeks out. We advise confirming headcount by early September 2026 and letting the visa paperwork follow.
