Journey Highlights
- Arab Health has become WHX Dubai — same buyers, same January slot, 25–28 January 2027.
- The show now runs across two venues, DWTC and the Dubai Exhibition Centre — transport planning decides your day.
- Gulf hospital chains, ministry procurement teams and MEA distributors buy here for the whole year.
- Indian medtech and pharma exhibit in force — booth-staff travel and buyer-meeting support are our core service.
- UAE visas clear in days; a 10–40 pax delegation can be confirmed a month out.
- IDEX runs in Abu Dhabi the same week — defence-and-healthcare firms can work both from one base.
- January Dubai is 24°C and dry — the pleasantest week on the Gulf calendar for long show days.

Experience Overview
WHX Dubai is Arab Health with a new badge — the Gulf’s dominant healthcare exhibition, running 25–28 January 2027 across the Dubai World Trade Centre and the Dubai Exhibition Centre. The rebrand has confused half the market’s calendars, which is an advantage for the teams who show up anyway: the buyers never left.
Delegations here work procurement season. Gulf hospital chains, health ministries and MEA distributors arrive with annual buying mandates, so days run on stand meetings, tender conversations and distributor negotiations rather than stage sessions. Exhibiting teams rotate booth staff across four days; visiting teams split coverage between the two venues, with the serious meetings pre-booked into fixed slots.
The dual-venue format is the logistics story. DWTC sits in the city centre; the Dubai Exhibition Centre is out at Expo City, some 45 minutes away, and a badly planned day dies in that gap. We fix each traveller’s venue-days in advance, book hotels accordingly, and run cars on schedule rather than on hope. January weather, at least, is perfect.
Some moments are built for lingering: a ministry buyer working through your device catalogue line by line, translator idle because the specifications speak; the distributor handshake that turns a three-year email thread into a signed territory; shawarma at 11 pm while the team recounts the day’s order values.
Go if you sell medical devices, diagnostics, hospital equipment or pharma into the Gulf and Africa, or run a hospital chain scouting technology. Skip it if your entire market is domestic Indian healthcare or you want research-conference content — WHX is a trade floor, and it measures you in orders.

need to know
How much lead time do visas and planning need?
Visas, almost none — UAE processing for Indian passports runs three to five working days, so delegations can confirm a month out. The real deadlines are stand logistics for exhibitors and hotel positioning across the two venues. We treat the visa as the easy last step, not the plan.
Does the dual-venue setup cause real problems?
What does a per-person delegation budget look like?
