THE WHOLE COUNTRY, HONESTLY

The USA is a long haul from India, and this is the coast-to-coast version — East and West in one trip, not the single-coast East Coast page we design separately. Twelve nights is the honest floor: New York, Washington and Niagara on one side, California parks, Las Vegas and the Grand Canyon on the other, stitched by internal flights.

Days swing between city and vastness. New York gives towers, Central Park and Broadway; Washington gives the Mall and its museums; a Niagara run adds the falls boat. Then a transcontinental flight west for Yosemite’s valley, Universal’s rides, the Las Vegas strip and a Grand Canyon Skywalk day out over the desert edge.

The scale is the story — Manhattan’s canyons of steel, then real canyons a mile deep, granite walls in Yosemite, and desert that runs flat to the horizon. Weather varies wildly by region and season, from humid East Coast summers to dry desert heat past 38 degrees. This is a moving trip; expect early airport starts and long drive days.

Some moments are built for lingering: the Manhattan skyline coming up as the observation lift climbs; the Maid of the Mist turning into Niagara’s spray and noise; the first sight of Yosemite Valley from Tunnel View; the Grand Canyon dropping away beneath the Skywalk’s glass floor as you take that first uneasy step.

Built for first-timers who want the headline USA, families with older children and travellers who like pace over stillness. Not for anyone wanting a slow single-base holiday, not for those who tire of flights and long drives, and not for travellers who cannot plan a B1/B2 visa far in advance.

FAQ

Good to
know

Do Indian passport holders need a visa for the USA?

Arrow

Yes — Indians need a B1/B2 visitor visa, applied for online with an in-person interview at a US consulate. Interview wait times have run long and vary sharply by city and season, sometimes many months, so start as early as you can. Your curator helps sequence the paperwork, but book the appointment before you firm up travel dates.

How is the USA for vegetarian travellers?

Arrow

Is ₹2,99,000 per person realistic for a coast-to-coast USA trip?
